Saturday 16th March 2012 saw the Belfast Giants beat their closest contenders for the Elite League title the Sheffield Steelers 5-1 in front of a sold out home Odyssey crowd 5-1 to seal the Elite League title. Celebrations continued all weekend with the Giants beating the Steelers again the next evening 5-2 at the Odyssey with the League Trophy being presented after the game.

January 22nd saw the now annual Big Giants vs Wee Giants game at Dundonald Ice Bowl to raise funds for the Junior Giants.

The season is almost upon us. The last weekend in August brought Hockey Fest to the Odyssey and our first chance to see the new team and meet the new players. The Meet and Greet took place in the pavillion on the Saturday morning.
